  • Description: Common heat treatment methods for leaf chain(GETECHAIN): annealing, normalizing, quenching, tempering, carburizing, nitriding, carbonitriding and boronizing. Aging treatment includes artificial aging treatment and natural aging treatment. Annealing: The workpiece is heated to 30-50 degrees above Ac3, kept warm for a certain time, then slowly cooled to 500 degrees along with the furnace and cooled in space. Normalizing: An operation of heating steel parts to Ac3 or above Acm, taking the leaf chain out of the furnace and cooling it in the air after heat preservation. Quenching: The steel parts are heated to Ac3 or Ac1 or above, and after heat preservation, they are rapidly cooled in a cooling liquid such as water or oil to obtain unstable structures. Tempering of blade chain: the heat treatment process of reheating the quenched steel to a temperature below Ac1, keeping the temperature and cooling to room temperature. Natural aging treatment: the aging phenomenon that occurs when the workpiece is placed at room temperature or under natural conditions for a long time is called natural aging treatment. Artificial aging treatment: the aging treatment process of heating the blade chain of the workpiece to a higher temperature and aging treatment for a shorter time is called artificial aging treatment.
