  • Description: Despite this and the messy launching on the Windows store, I'm genuinely enjoying PSO2's Dragon Hunter-esque activity and extreme quantity of loot. But PSO2 is weird. At this time, for example, the main hub is decked out with giant statues of Sonic and Knuckles, despite being a game about people exploring uncharted planets, among the levels it is possible to explore is that the Japanese version is Las Vegas. What I am saying is that a bunch of mechs fighting a WW2-era battleship feels perfectly normal--and it does not really matter anyway since you don't play PSO2 for the story. You play with it to your over-the-top combat and superb boss battles. The other neat piece of info, though, is that PSO2 will probably be coming to Steam or another storefront soon, as mentioned at the end of the trailer. That's good news if you're unwilling to dip into the Windows Store to play it right now (though most of the problems are fixed). If you would like to play PSO2, I highly suggest getting the habit launcher made by its own community. It negates the requirement for the Windows shop and is simple to install. The wait is over for Phantasy Star Online 2's Episode 5. There's a new story, upgraded features and even a new class to enjoy. Sega has been hyping up the game's next phase with bonuses and rewards for some time, but now there's even more. Episode 5 looks like a significant departure from Episode 4, as there are tons of new things to experience along with a new, high level cap of 90 to reach. Here is what to get excited about in PSO2 Episode 5, and also why to come back if you're tired of fighting a boat. The very first Scion Class, Hero, is here. Unlike regular classes, there are requirements to unlock Scions, and they tend to play otherwise. To play Hero, you must have some two level 75 classes before speaking to Cofy to unlock it. It can't be used as a Sub Course nor have one, so playing it means just using Hero. It does have quite an arsenal, even though, having the ability to utilize Swords, Twin Machine Guns and Talis effectively. Since its a new course, there'll also be a brand new Hero character to help you out and provide you new quests to practice with. A new ability has been added; however, it requires you to play through the story to unlock some of them. Dark Blast allows players to turn into one of four Black Falz, such as Hyunal or Angel, outfitted with unique, powerful attacks and fans for a limited time. It's sort of like a Photon Blast, but much more impressive because you take on a different form. These forms could be leveled up by simply using them, and things can be spent to increase each type's skills. Episode 5 leaves Earth behind and contributes to the ARKS world class. An anomaly happens, and you end up in a brand new world called Omega situated in a black hole with new and old characters battling corruption once again. Omega was created with dream in mind. There are castles, dragons, siege-like quests and kingdoms all surrounded by something they call magic, but players will recognize as photons. It sounds just like another detour from the initial few Episodes, but it comes back around to events with Oracle, and much of the lore is explained. Just make your way through the narrative to find out. Buster Quests are a vital part of Episode 5, together with many of the narrative's battle quests with their mechanisms. These new quests are also available at the quest counter and can be done with the eight-player multiparty. They're very similar to this Apprentice Urgent Quest, where players must work together to protect towers out of oncoming enemies. However, there are plenty of new mechanics that make this fresh with how it's more siege-like. After shielding the towers, weapons are deployed and have to be protected to breach the castle at the other end of this field. When it's breached, everyone must make their way to the boss -- that the castle itself. Buster Quests get gradually more challenging as their level can be built up like Extreme Quests. Of course, new quests imply new things, but there are also new awards to be got and a new shop to go along with them. If you want to know more about PSO2, you can visit
